San Diego--The FTAA is a dangerous elevation of corporate rights above human rights. It goes to great lengths to protect the interests of multinational corporations and does absolutely nothing to protect the environment or labor rights. Theeca Souncararajan, an activist from UC Irvine joined protestors at the border with Tijuana "in support of all the activists against free trade, against the FTAA, and in support of labor rights".
