Saturday, April 21. U.S. Mexico Border FTAA Protest. This was the chaotic

scene as the protest march arrived at the actual crossing check point of

the U.S. - Mexican border. Thousands of people had gathered at that point

and involved themselves in a myriad of activities... drumming, handing out

bilingual flyers against Globalization, drawing revolutionary pictures on

the closed street using colored chalk, and much more. I took this photo of

the Black Block pushing up against a chain link fence next to the

border.... with many dozens of Riot Police on the other side. Aside from

some taunting there were no incidents of violence.
