Saturday, April 21. U.S. Mexico Border FTAA Protest. Many Artists had

created large cardboard portraits of heroic figures. These cut outs would

then be painted and mounted on poles so that they could be carried about.

This protestor carried a beautiful portrait of Ceasar Chavez, the leader of

the United Farm Workers, I also saw a wonderful cardboard portrait of Dr.

Martin Luther King being carried.
