There have been reports that the black bloc members at the end of Cote d' Abraham where it meets the highway have been throwing molotovs at the police. This seems to have happened just moments after the death of an unamed protestor came in. It looks as if the black bloc found out first. I have just been informed that the front of the Media Center has been turned into a triage unit and writing this article doesn't seem very important. If there is anything to be said it is that if it were not for the black bloc we would all be in a world of shit. the police are not the good guys, they are not doing their job, someone has just brought in a seventh month old child that is suffering from tear gas. This is now a fucking war.

9:58pm EST - One protester was sent to the hospital after being shot in the kidney area with a rubber bullet. He may be bleeding internally. Stephen from the IMC NYC was shot in the leg and Salim from the San Francisco IMC was shot in the head and is bleeding.

The police always ask that news of death (of anyone) not be released immediately. Newspapers and other media (corporate or independent or whatever) typically honor requests of this nature. In another widely circulated story, the police have shut down the activists' first aid center. There appears to be no connection, but it is an indication that the authorities are attempting to escalate the confrontation by making the envrionment more dangerous.
