In connection with the emerging tension both at the international finance market and stock market as well, considerable fluctuation in the oil prices, and some other indicators of instability in the financial world, a group which composed of Russian and foreign financial analysts has made a decision to call a special meeting to debate the current precrisis situation in order to consider ways in which we can meet these challenges and elaborate an optimum strategy for the authorities of financial structures in Russia and in other emerging market economies.

I've not had time to examine this strange message in depth, and I have no time to visit Russia at the moment. It's possible the attachments are FBI viruses, so I've not opened them (be careful). For what it's worth, I'm forwarding this to fellow eco-known-mists in case you're interested.

Incidentally, the inevitable collapse of the Fed's "US dollar" is an
opportunity for wonderful reconstruction of a genuinely productive, ecological and democratic economy. We've already got a number of alternative currencies waiting to fill the vacuum:

plus our method for municipally issued, genuine US dollars (US Notes) backed by municipally generated renewable energy ( = 10kWh of windpower, for example). This system would rapidly reduce the US trade debt, government deficits, pollution, war, energy shortage, unemployment, instability, etc. The only problem we can imagine is that it would also reduce the need for politicians and other parasites. Guess they'd just have to play golf every day and chat about ball games instead of tax cuts.
