Under threat of legal action from the Board Hijackers, WBAIFREE.ORG has pulled its content this afternoon.
While proclaiming adherence to the Founder's values of free-speech community supporting radio out of one side of their mouth, the Pacifica Foundation's current clique of hijacking Board members have utilized Board member John Murdock's anti-union, anti-worker, anti-labor, anti health care law firm of Epstein, Becker and Green to seriously chill the efforts of a group of dedicated supporters, listeners, contributors and staff concerned with similar Board past and ongoing malfeasance.
Wbaifree.org currently displays the message:
"WBAIFREE.ORG
is temporarily offline because of a threatening, untruthful letter from Pacifica's lawyers, received today.
These community and producer's pages were created independently in 1997, and have always been independent.
We are consulting a lawyer to defend us, if Pacifica's lawyers think they have a case to censor independent commentary, they should be immediately be fired for incompetence.
We will be back, but are proceeding cautiously.
