How could anyone who wakes up every morning to a sky like this ever feel angry/upset (whatever) enough to put this rally together??

I guess West Coast folks really are a little different from us back east. I'd just be looking up at that sky and smiling like an idiot all day!

Actually, we clever planners expected the gorgeous weather would attract more people. What could be more fun than heading downtown on a clear day and exercising your first ammendment rights?

I attended the counter Inauguration coalition and was very proud of all the people that participated, however Los Angeles is a huge city I believe that more people could have and should have attended. We all want to whine about how f*cked things are but don't want to get up to change the present. I meet too many people in L.A. that feel that they can't change a thing saying "what can I do, it does not matter there just too powerful" We as people must wake up and realize that we CAN change, but must begin within ourselves as a daily and on going fight for as long as it takes to take back what is righteously ours. No matter how young or old, what gender, or race it does not matter this applies to us all.
