The coporate media have done an excellent job of making something simple seem incredibly complex. But 3 simple graphs produced by Carnegie Mellon professor Greg D. Adams make the whole thing "perfectly clear." Just show them on national TV & Bush is history. But will they ever get there?

The coporate media have done an excellent job of making something simple seem incredibly complex. But 3 simple graphs produced by Carnegie Mellon professor Greg D. Adams make the whole thing "perfectly clear."

The graphs are striking visual representations that show how drastically the vote totals for Bushanan depart from the totals for all other Florida counties. The graphs map Buchanan's vote totals against Bush, Gore and the total number of votes.

Adams explains, "For all of the plots, all of the counties except one (Palm Beach) follow a pretty regular pattern.

The more votes Bush got in a county, the more votes Buchanan got, and the number of votes that Buchanan got increases with Bush's vote by a fairly predictable amount -- except for Palm Beach, which has many, many more votes for Buchanan than would be reasonably expected, given all of the other

Florida counties."

The same holds true for the other 2 graphs as well. While it's easy to confuse most people by *talking* about numbers, the presentation in graphic form makes the stark facts undeniable.
