DEMOCRATS ATTACK NADER VOTERS

DEMOCRATS ATTACK NADER VOTERS

When Nader was at around 5% in the polls for the past 6 months

the Democrats ignored Nader.

The Corporate Media almost completely ignored:

(1) Nader's announcement as a Presidential candidate.

(2) Nader campaigning in all 50 States.

(3) The Democratic Party and Republican Party

sabotaging Nader's ability to be in the Debates,

by unfairly setting 15% in the polls

as the minimum for being in the Debates.

In 1992 Perot was at 7% in the polls before the Debates,

was allowed into the Debates, and

then after the Debates was at 19% in the polls.

In 1998 Ventura was at 10% in the polls just before the Debates,

allowed to Debate on TV voters experienced Ventura the politician, and

Ventura received 37% of the vote to become the Governor of Minnesota.

The Federal Government only requires a candidate have

5% of the vote to receive Federal matching funds.

Now Democrats privately admit Nader has them worried.

The Democratic Party and it's allies have suddenly mobilized.

'... We will do everything we can to peel votes away from Nader

To peel votes away; Democrats are using a divide and conquer strategy,

For 40 years the Multinational Corporations have been trying to

'Get something on [Nader] .... Get him out of our hair ... Shut him up."

The Progressive p35 April 2000

Wealthy Individuals and their Multinational Corporations have

hired young bright talented people and

trained them to infiltrate Nader's organizations to:

get leadership positions in Nader's organizations;

be provocateurs and saboteurs in Nader's organizations; and

demoralize Nader supporters by quitting Nader

to work for a Multinational Corporation or,

speak or write about Nader as an enlightened former Nader insider.

They are getting better at creating false grass roots organizatons.

Greenpeace Guide to Anti-Environmental Organizations by Carl Deal

Organizations working for real Democracy,

usually have a few underpaid overworked managers, little money,

many overworked overstressed volunteers who work many low pay jobs

so they can volunteer to make Democracy happen, rarely hire people,

and are diffiuclt places to work because of

the few rewards vs. many punishments of

Corporate sabotage and harassment that comes with being effective.

They are getting better at making their organizations a great place to work.

But the burn out rate is still high, and a few good people leave embittered.

Wealthy Individuals and their Multinational Corporations have

aided embittered former members of Nader's organizations,

to speak or write about Nader as enlightened former Nader insiders.

Let's take a look at the history of Toby Moffett

a Democrat PR spokesperson currently attacking Nader voters:

(1) 1970's worked with Nader to start Connecticut Citizen Action Group.

(2) worked with Nader on environmental and other causes.

(3) was a Connecticut Congressional Representative.

(4) worked for Monsanto as VP of International Government Affairs.

(5) worked as a PR consultant for Multinational Corporation.

(6) currently a Democrat PR spokesperson attacking Nader and Nader voters,

calling Nader "elitist" and attempting to demoralize Nader voters.

To peel votes away, Democrats have recruited influential:

(1) leaders in the environmental movement;

Friends of the Earth, Sierra Club, etc.

(2) celebrities;

actor director Robert Redford, rock singer Melissa Etheridge, etc.

actor Martin Sheen, Dule Hill, director Rob Reiner, etc.

(3) leaders in labor unions;

AFL-CIO, Service Employees Union, etc.

(4) leaders in the women's movement;

feminist Gloria Steinem, abortion activist Kate Michelman, etc.

(5) prominent liberals;

Rev. Jesse Jackson, Senator Paul Wellstone, Bill Bradley, etc.

Let's take a look at Friends of the Earth,

allied with the Democrat Party and currently attacking Nader voters:

(1) They have been unable to get Clinton or Gore to fulfill campaign promises.

(2) They assumed Clinton and Gore were their friends, and ignored their

"Free Trade", NAFTA, GATT, MAI, and WTO destructon of environmental laws.

(3) Brent Blackwelder is the President of Friends of the Earth

and stated on Oct. 30 2000 that of Bush, Gore, and Nader;

"Nader is closest to us on many environmental policy issues,

particularly globalization and genetically engineered food ..."

(4) Blackwelder's stated reason for not indorsing Nader?

Blackwelder stated; "... [Nader] will not win the election."

(5) The Democratic Party and Republican Party

sabotaged Nader's ability to be in the Debates,

and thus sabotaged some of Nader's chances to win the election.

If Friends of the Earth wants to support Gore,

after Gore sabotaged Nader,

then why should I support Friends of the Earth?

Friends of the Earth?

Let's take a look at the Sierra Club

allied with the Democrat Party and currently attacking Nader voters:

(1) politically very conservative.

(2) authoritarian competitive top down hierarchical management style,

like a wolf pack with an alpha male.

Has a strong domineering authoritarian executive director.

(3) formidable Public Relations Department and Magazine.

(4) heavily invested in and dependent on the use of

environmental lawyers to change laws and get the laws enforced.

"Free Trade", NAFTA, GATT, MAI, and WTO, made this strategy obsolete.

The Corporations control the Government:

the Executive Corporate President and Vice President;

the Legilative Corporate Congresspersons and Senators;

the Judicial Corporate Judges; and

Government Departments with Corporate employees (EPA, OSHA, etc.).

(5) Assumed Reagan and Bush were their enemies and

helped stop the Reagan Bush 12 year attempt to destroy the environment.

(6) assumed Clinton and Gore were their friends, and ignored their

"Free Trade", NAFTA, GATT, MAI, and WTO destruction of environmental laws.

As a result there was more destruction of the environment in the

first 4 years of the Clinton-Gore administration

than in all 12 years of the Reagan Bush administrations.

(7) They've been unable to get Clinton or Gore to fulfill campaign promises.

(8) Heavily invested in the Democratic Party's Clinton and Gore.

They are entrapped and in denial after

betting much more than for worth of benifit,

and the Multinational Corporations can easly

out reward and out punish Gore or Bush.

The wolf pack is facing extinction by a cunning ruthless predatory cancer.

(9) The Democratic Party and Republican Party

sabotaged Nader's ability to be in the Debates,

and thus sabotaged some of Nader's chances to win the election.

If the Sierra Club wants to support Gore,

after Gore sabotaged Nader,

then why should I support the Sierra Club?

What does David Brower; founder of Friends of the Earth and

Earth Island Institue, and past President of the Sierra Club

have to say about all of this? Brower wrote;

"By my own reckoning, the first term of Bill Clinton and Al Gore

had done more environmental harm than

the 12 previous years of Reagan and Bush"

"Global Environmental Outlook 2000, a three-year [UN] study ...

recently warned ... human beings are seriously destabilizing the

nitrogen balance .... [making] fresh water ... unfit for human consumption.

... 80 percent of the world's forests have been destroyed or degraded,

25 percent of all mammals are at risk of extinction, and

greenhouse gases have quadrupled in just four decades.

Do you think these trends reversed or even slowed

during the blind growth of the Clinton-Gore years? Think again.

Gore's ... great economic boom is in truth a global liquidation sale.

Gore ... [failed] to grasp ... the earth's natural capital

(the life-supporting ecosystems) is being sold off for cash.

Rather than attempting to meet these undeiable challenges,

both parties ignore them and remain unwilling to stand up to

the oil, timber and mining barons causing so much of the damage.

Our friends in the Democratic administration

passed logging without laws, weakened marine mannal protection,

extended the use of ozone-destroying methyl bromide and

reversed the ban on PCBs. And this is the lesser of two evils!

Perhaps worst of all, this administration passed GATT and NAFTA,

trade agreements that hand our environmental laws over to

non-elected tribunals that meet in secret.

Al Gore says he is for strong environmental laws

(including many written by Nader), yet he champions

a trade body with the power and propensity to remove these same protections.

... Gore, [is] a pro-death penalty, pro-globalization candidate

swimming in corporate cash. ...

The time to build a new political force is during an election campaign,

when people are paying attention, [with] ... Nader as our candidate.

Once Gore is in office, our ability to pressure him will be greatly enhanced

if [Nader wins] a sizable vote in the election. ...

Choose hope and vote for a future ... Vote Nader, and

begin to create a future you can really believe in."

Let's take a look at Robert Redford a celebrity

allied with the Democrat Party and currently attacking Nader voters:

(1) Redford stared in the film "Sneakers"

a postivly pro NSA National Security Agency puff peace.

Redford made the NSA look good.

(2) most celebrities are professional liars:

paid singers, actors, actresses, directors, and producers

who create songs and films that create bogus images

to sell a product or idea to the Public.

Who better to convince progressives they should vote for Gore?

Reagan is an actor who played the President of the United States,

and is now playing the new part : "I think I don't remember".

What does the Labor Party have to say about all of this?

http://www.igc.org/lpa/lpv45/lpp45_mt_gore.html

They are mostly attempting to peel votes away in:

(1) California 54 electoral votes

(2) Ohio 21

(3) Michigan 12

(4) Wisconsin 11

(5) Washington 11

(6) Minnesota 10

(7) Oregon 7

(8) New Mexico 5

(9) Maine 4

135 out of 270 electoral votes needed to be President.

To peel votes away they are using:

(1) the Corporate media.

(2) advertisements (TV, radio, internet, magazines, newspapers).

(3) concerts.

(4) rallies.

(5) celebrity appearances.

(6) leaflets.

(7) e-mail.

(8) phone banks.

(9) junk mail.

To peel votes away, they are:

(1) flooding college campuses with leaflets.

(2) flooding the Nader campaign with e-mail urging Nader to drop out.

The New York Times in a front page story has once again

New York Times A30 Oct. 26 2000

On Monday Oct. 23, Gore in answering a reporter's question

about Nader's greater appeal to voters concerned with the environment;

Gore essentially challenged Nader to a debate;

'... I want you to look at my record and my agenda ...

I'll match that against anybody.'

'I'll stack my record against anyone, including [Nader].'

Gore claimed Gore's record on the environment is as good as Nader's record.

It was the first time Gore said the "N" word in Public during this election.

Nader after being told abut all this new found attention said;

'Their policy for six months has been to ignore me.

So obviously we welcome this enhanced attention.'

'Let these Democrats be more vociferous.'

"Nader said ... he would welcome any public ... debate with ... Gore

about environmental issues ..."

The Democrat Party's outcry of loud noisy anger at Nader and the Public

indicates Democrat Party anxiety over loosing control of Nader and the Public,

and the Democrat-Republican Corporate Party's vulnerability to defeat,

even after spiteful illegal attempts to keep Nader out of the White House.

This attention to Nader could "backfire" and put Nader in the White House.

Nader said; 'If it made any difference to me

whether Gore is elected or not,

I wouldn't be running. Why would I even bother?'

"Nader plans to stump through several swing States

over the next two weeks and

hold major rallies in two of them: Wisconsin and Iowa."

Nader said; 'The cruel truth is that few of the benefits

of a booming stock market and good economic times at the top

have trickled down to millions of American families.'

"[Nader attacked] the Clinton administration [for]

having failed to improve the condition of the poor."

"[Nader said] most low-income workers make less today

in inflation-adjusted dollars than they did in the 1970's."

"[Nader wants to raise] the federal minimum wage to .50 ... from .15

... [repeal] laws that restrict labor organizing and

[devote] much of the federal surplus to a 'Marshall Plan' to rebuild cities."

Nader said; 'I don't give the Democrats much credibility

[on appointments to the Supreme Court]'

"[Nader said] Democratic nominees to the [Supreme Court]

have compiled conservative voting records."

"[Nader said] several respected justices, including Earl Warren,

Harry A. Blackmun and David H. Souter, were nominated by Republicans.]"

I slightly disagree with Nader on nominees to the Supreme Court.

(1) The book Hitler's Justice shows

Wealthy Individuals and their Corporations

placed Fascist Judges and Lawyers in the German legal system

in preparation for Hitler's assent to power.

They put in place Executive Orders to be activated by a National Emergency.

Hitler's actons including murder, were declared "legal' by Nazi Judges.

(2) It's as though the nominees have lived a repressed life,

and once they are a so called independent tenured Judge for life,

the repression is removed and they explore their new world.

Republican nominees tend to turn into liberal Judges.

Democrate nominees tend to turn into conservative Judges.

(3) The average Supreme Court Judge owes a favor to those

Wealthy Individuals and their Corporations who get them their Judgeship.

The Judge may plan on doing many good things but

feels they will have to return the favor someday and do a few evil things.

Some see this Corporte Party as two faced;

the left face wears the mask of a Mule,

the right face wears the mask of a Elephant .

What side your standing on determines what the Corporate Party looks like.

Some see this Corporte Party as a Good Cop-Bad Cop routine.

The Good Cop is freindly. The bad Cop is scary.

The Good Cop promises to protect you from the Bad Cop

only if you cooperate with the Good Cop, and no one else, like your lawyer.

Both Cops work for the same Corporate boss, not the Public.

Some see this Corporate Party as a Gore-Bush routine.

Gore is friendly. Bush is scary.

Gore promises to protect you from Bush

only if you vote for Gore, and no one else, like Nader.

Both Gore and Bush work for the same Corporations, not the Public.

The Corporate Party's main goal is to keep the Public from voting

for a anti-Corporate 3rd Party candidate.

They don't care if Gore or Bush wins, because they paid for both,

so the Multinational Corportions will get what they want,

and remain in control of the Government.

Some Democrats who switched to the Green Party and stick by Nader,

feel "sorrow ... the [Democratic] Party ... abandon us ...

We didn't .... abandon the Democratic Party ..."

Others attended "teach-ins leading up to WTO [Seattle Protest] ...

learned about the extent to which the Democratic Party is financed

by the same corporate interests that fund the Republican Party."

'Sometimes people have to stick with something even if it's not popular.'

'I'm voting my principles, not my fears.'

fighting for a cleaner environment, consumer protection and labor rights.

'... Nader is a good man ... raised important issues ... but ... can't win.'

The Democrat-Republican Carporate Party

sabotaged Nader's ability to be in the Debates,

and gave Nader almost no Corporate media coverage,

to make it difficult for Nader to win.

It's easy to compare what Nader, Gore, and Bush;

have said (their agendas) to what they did (their track records).

It's in books:

(1) The Buying of the President 2000

by Charles Lewis

(2) Al Gore: A User's Manual

by Alexander Cockburn

(3) Shrub: The Short But Happy Political Life of George W. Bush

by Molly Ivins (book , large print , tape , CD )

It's on the internet:

The single most important issue to vote for is;

who controls the Government of the United States.

After the WTO Seattle protest the Public became aware of how much

Multinational Corporations control Government.

There are many other important issues that need attention, such as;

Corporate control of political campaigns, Corporate welfare,

loss of Public welfare, loss of Public health care,

loss of equality, loss of reporductive rights, the deteriorating environment,

loss of consumer protection, loss of labor rights, the failed drug war,

the growing Corporate prision system, the death penalty for innocent people,

the escalating arms race between Star Wars II and Russia's Topol-M, etc.

It's amazing how often Corporations make a profit from these problems

that never get solved or keep getting worse.

If the Multinational Corporations control the Government,

then the Public will eventually loose all of the issues!

The Public's 1st priority should be: Public control of Government.

Yes it will be painful in the short term,

and we will loose good people to mental and physical illness, or worse.

But in the long term we will have our freedom,

and not be a slave to our fears, real or imagined.

Gore is for MAI, GATT, NAFTA, WTO, and "Free Trade":

Corporate control of Government.

"It did not take long for the principles of

[Corporate] advertising and marketing

developed to sell consumer goods

to be applied to the 'sale' of political ideas and candidates.

One of the first such applications came in the selling of World War I.

In a book first published in 1920

and entitled 'How We Advertised America', George Creel,

a publisher and head of [President Woodrow Wilson's]

Committee On Public Information,

proudly divulged how he and his committee

used the principles of advertising

to convince Americans to go to war against Germany.

Creel's success inspired others, [Republicans and]

most notably Adolf Hitler,

to use and develop these techniques on a grand scale."

In 1934 the Republicans and their Corporations

used the same propaganda techniques

to destroy Upton Sinclair, the Democrat's very popular candidate

for Governor of California.

It cost the Republicans 10 Million dollars.

The most ever spent on an election up to that date.

This was the origin of the negative "Media Campaign".

Wealthy Individuals and their Multinational Corporations, and

Hitler used the same propaganda techniques

to take over and control Germany and America.

Hitler funded, "America First" activities and media propaganda,

at "a million dollars per annum".

Wealthy Individuals and their Multinational Corporations

funded, "America First" activities and media propaganda,

at many million dollars per annum.

They wanted to convince Americans to stay out of the war,

not prepare for war, and seek a peaceful negotiation with Hitler.

Many USA voters consider Fascism to be evil.

Nader has fought against MAI, GATT, NAFTA, WTO, and "Free Trade":

Corporate control of Government.

http://votenader.org/issues/fairtrade.html

Nader has fought for Public control of Government, for over 40 years.

Lets examine Public "Welfare Reform" and

compare what they said (the agenda) to what they did (the track record),

and see if Multinational Corporatons are involved.

What they said:

Public "Welfare Reform" would be

a generously financed welfare-to-work program.

Quality training for living wage jobs, with quality child care,

so parents could devote them self to mastering the needed skills.

They said it would lift poor women with children out of poverty.

Clinton signed the Welfare Reform Act of 1996.

Gore brags about supporting the Welfare Reform Act of 1996.

What they did:

(1) This Public experiment would have no scientific surveys,

statistics or records to document this Public experiment or its results.

What happened when people are taken off Federal Public Welfare,

would be unknown, with no track record.

The Nazis made detailed accurate records of their Holocaust experiment

that were later used to convict Nazis of

genocide, ethnic cleansing, or murder.

I guess they learned not to make that mistake again.

(2)The Responsibility for Public Welfare was shifted

from the Federal Government to State, City and local agencies, who

"rarely attempt to survey the poor once they're no longer receiving benefits".

Many USA citizens who left Public Welfare became "America's Disappeared".

(3) Four years after the beginning of the elimination of Public Welfare,

the Public still does not Scientifically know what happened to these citizens.

(4) The best we have is a small non-random survey done by a new Public

nonprofit "National Welfare Monitoring and Advocacy Partnership".

Their survey lumps together former and current Public Welfare recipients,

with other people seeking or applying for these or similar social services.

(4a) Of those who actually moved from welfare-to-work

most had only part-time work with an average of 7.20 $/hr.

Many became homeless, hungry, ill, or died early.

A "living wage" starts with full-time 40 hr/wk work at 10 $/hr,

or part-time 20 hr/wk work at 20 $/hr.

(4b) Of those who were moved from Public Welfare to unemployed non-Welfare

a large number became homeless, hungry, ill, jailed, or died early.

(4c) Of those who some how found a way to stay on Public Welfare

30% became homeless or had problems paying the rent,

40% had difficulty paying monthly bills.

(5) The survey indicates the total group (4a, 4b, 4c)

was 65% unemployed, 46% homeless, and

28% unable to buy food during the previous six months.

When people move from Public Welfare to work they often have less income,

then Public Welfare, and can't afford a home or food.

It pays to stay on Public Welfare, but the way its rigged now,

its virtually impossible to stay on Public Welfare.

Its a dammed if you do, dammed if you don't situation.

You stand to loose big time any way you move, even if you sit still.

After the "Deindustrialization of America",

the end of the Brenton-Woods Treaty,

the closing of the Gold Window and end of the Gold Standard in 1972:

The Rich got Richer; the Middle Class became the new poor; and

the old poor became poorer, homeless, jailed or died an early death.

Corporations found the poor easy to control and take advantage of,

and paid USA citizens less than minimum wage, even as low as 1 $/hr.

The Public "Welfare Reform Act" of 1996 caused more poverty, not less.

It became more difficult for poor women with children to escape poverty.

In 1996 a 5 year lifetime limit on Public Welfare benefits started.

In 2001 more USA citizens will be homeless, hungry, ill, jailed or die early.

(5) States say demand for Public services is down. The opposite is true.

(6) Money saved from Public Welfare is spent on Corporate Welfare.

Take the Rich Off Welfare by Mark Zepezauer

It is clear in my mind who the lesser evil is.

Who do you think the lesser evil is?

A vote for Nader is a vote for "none of the above".

A vote for Nader pulls the Democrat-Republican Corporate Party apart,

and pulls it toward the center.

A vote for Nader is a vote:

(1) for Democracy: Public control of Government.

(2) against Fascism: Corporate control of Government.

(3) for Public control of political campaigns.

(4) against Corporate control of political campaigns.

(5) for public Welfare and Public Health care.

(6) against Corporate Welfare.

(7) for equality.

(8) for reporductive rights.

(9) for a healthy environment.

(10) for prevention and treatment of drug abuse.

(11) for crime prevention and rehabilitation.

(12) against Corporate prison systems and death penalty for innocent people.

(13) against the new arms race: Star Wars II vs. Topol-M counter measures.

(14) for peace on Earth and in Space.

A vote for Nader is a way to reward and thank Nader for:

(1) 40 years of integrity, and tireless pursuit of honest Public Democracy.

(2) The Freedom Of Information Act.

(3) Investigating Corporate crime and suing Multinational Corporations.

(4) Multinational Monitor magazine.

(5) Environmental Protection Agency and lobbying for Environmental issues.

(6) National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act, and Center for Auto Safety.

(7) public Citizen and their books, like "Worst Pills, Best Pills".

(8) Public Interest Research Groups.

(9) Center for Science in the Public Interest, and it's Nutrition Action

newsletter.

(10) Center for the Study of Responsive Law.

(11) Saving and improving millions of lives, world wide.

Many people feel;

more choice means more Democracy,

less choice means one step closer to Dictatorship.

I helped put Nader on the Ballot in my State,

so voters would have more choice,

and a better chance or creating a Democracy.

Nader belongs to us, the Public, not the Multinational Corporations.

Nader needs at least 5% of the Nations vote,

to receive Federal matching funds and establish the Green Party.

Nader needs 35% of a State's votes, to get the State's electoral votes.

Nader needs 270 electoral votes, to be elected President of the USA.

In 1998 Ventura was at 10% in the polls just before the Debates,

allowed to Debate on TV, voters experienced Ventura the politician, and

Ventura received 37% of the vote to become the Governor of Minnesota.

A Reuters/MSNBC poll stated 25% of the Nader voters are normally Democrats,

and 75% of the Nader voters are normally independents or Republicans.

According to that poll, if Nader dropped out, Bush would easily win!

People who normally don't register or vote,

have registered and indicate they will vote for Nader.

Gore voters, Bush voters, and undecided voters; are switching to Nader.

Even some Corporate polls indicate Nader is gaining voters.

It is possible for Nader to be the President of the United States.

Nader voters need to peel votes away from Gore and Bush.

Nader supporters need to assure Nader delivers a message to all voters,

before the elections on Nov. 2000.
