Orange County, Calif., anarchist youths chat about what America means to them on Indpendence Day 2000, on Subversity, a KUCI public affairs program. Members of the August Collective planning the North American Anarchist Conference, they also talk about what it means to be an anarchist, and what anarchism means to them. They discuss education, the draft, activism, demonstrations, and tactics. They voice opposition to state power and slave wages, while espousing an alternative vision.
