I think Mahatma Gandhi would call for a day of prayer & fasting on November 7, 2000 with millions on the Capital Mall & millions more at every place of local goverance across the land having voted those that serve Global Corporate Control out of office by voting for Green Labor & We the People & holding the prayer that the majority do too.

WHAT WOULD MK GANDHI DO?

A few of the problems that MK Gandhi had in immobilizing grassroots support for economic justice from Colonial rule - Global Corporate Dominion United Kingdom style now known as the WTO was the difference in language, 27 different languages on the Indian continent, finding a common rallying point that affected everyone, getting everyone to be non-violent in their non-cooperation with those in power & getting the media to report the story.

My question since June 1983 at the Congress for the Planetary Initiate for the World We Choose is: "What is today's Salt March?" MK's issue was salt & the British tax on it, a natural resource. The WTO, globalization of poverty & economic injustice if not stopped will destroy all WATER on the planet that supports life!

October 2, 1999 I began a fast I hoped could last for forty days or until the world knew of it's imminent peril at the mercy of the hydra head of capitalism run in a totalitarian way with secret central planning & no ethics for social responsibility - communistic according to that definition & so far from the Declaration of Independence & Adam Smith as to be filed in different parts of a library.

LIFE & WATER are core issues. How specifically to get the media? MK Gandhi did not wear British shoes & kick down a British sign. Instead he wore what he could spin himself & he took the British cloths he had paid for & burned his own property. Never to spend his money there again.

One of the core parts of what MK Gandhi - known as Mahatma Gandhi - taught & lived was local self sufficiency & local governance. India did not follow Gandhi on this but took the lead of British educated Prime Minister Nehru.

As for demonstrating against the media -yes, but let us do no violence against their equipment. It gives them the evidence to paint an even more demonized version of non-violent civil-disobedience.

I broke my no WTO fast after 16 days losing 19 pounds after reading up on MKG & fasting. I discovered that I wasn't meditating & praying enough but writing & editing social activist poetry & alerting others to the coming event. MK Gandhi believed that fasting is prayer & prayer is fasting & silence of mind is key within peace of mind & heart.

Let us build upon what was launched in grassroots global communication in Seattle with & through the Independent Media Centers. Let us fortify these with funds. Lets us fortify our brothers & sisters in jail with bail money & legal fees. With whatever talents you have communicate to as many people as you are able. The individual reporter is often overworked so prepare a complete press kit with the facts & references & phone numbers & make it as small & as organized & to the point as you can. Get your message into 7 -9 words with an activating verb whenever you can.

My mission & purpose is to activate service, education & peacemaking for our common future! Let us do that by writing, ratifying & implementing a Bill of Rights for the Earth globally via local governance. Let us continue to experience Art to celebrate Life & Communicate the Issues. To that end I offer www.CosmicTV.org as a means. It is where you will find my activist poetry when I find a clean web host. See article I posted @ www.indymedia.org "Did FBI use Carnivore to target who to arrest?"

August 13 is year two in a three-year window of time that are Days of Destiny. Meso-American & multiple cultures have prophecies for the Web of Life of We the Peoples to be connected, activated & united for global justice, world peace, sustainable environment & the emergence of a global constituency during these three years. Seeds planted now will frame the next generation & beyond.

When searching for answers as to what is today's Salt March to unite a global constituency for peace & justice, the vision I had overcame the media not covering it - like so many before. Like the 1980 November Northeast Women's Peace Co-alition I photographed 4,000 women surrounding the pentagon & weaving the doors shut - no press coverage & women bled as have so many at the hands of police knowing the media will demonize the protestors & no corporate media will be present.

An Action Vision - A WATER Day focused on the Web of Life: November 7, 2000 a day of prayer & water fasting. Gather at your local town plaza, state capital or the Nation's Mall after having cast your vote. 4 million could gather on the Capital Mall & millions more at their local seat of governance having cast their vote by absentee ballot for a new day. My vote is for Ralph Nader, President of the USA!

A co-alition of third parties has held debates across the land broadcast live on the internet, on local cable access & community radio stations & the people know & understand the issues. November 7, 2000 becomes a day of celebration as people across our land vote those that serve Global Corporate Control out of office as we all vote for Green Labor & We the People.

I have figured out a way for eighteen people to walk on the water of the reflecting pool. To know you have to be one of the eighteen. Labor, truckers & middle America will join with us when we clearly communicate why it is personally profitable for all of us to know the record & not the rhetoric.

For me it's knowing the extinction of humanity due to no clean water by 2030 is here in one generation. Or maybe "We are all Jews in this holocaust!" Know your audience & communicate the issues that you know in the language that can be understood & is non-violent. Like Mother Teresa wrote me. Do a small thing but do that thing. And MK Gandhi: Be the peace you seek to achieve for the world in the world!
