Letter to the Chambers of Commerce in LA

by An avid voice against lawless Portesters Tuesday, Aug. 08, 2000 at 10:00 PM
Cochise1812.aol.com The San Frenando Valley of Los Angeles-says NO to protesters!

A letter sent to all News Papers, Judges, political leaders, and community groups all over Los Angeles....

As I certain you are well aware of by now the DNC is only days away. While this convention will bring revenue and a positive spotlight to the Los Angeles it has also promised to bring the dark side of humanity to our city and our streets aswell.

As we have seen in Seattle, Washington DC, and at the Republican National Convention the possiblity of violence in our city streets is real. It appears almost unavoidable.

It is no secret that the protesters who are trained by the "Ruckus Society" from "Biz"-erkly, Calif plan to stage massive protests in our streets and disrupt this city. Protesters from all over will converge on our city and exercise thier right to assemble and and engage in free speech.

Many protesters will certainly be "non-violent" and engaged in honest protests. However, the very first protest in honor of and support for a convicted cop killer from Philadelphia. Why portest this in LA? Who knows-and many people in LA probaly do not care about the matters of Philly. However, to some protesters he is some kind of political prisoner and folk hero. However,it is important to know a jury has found him GUILTY of MURDER and sentenced him to death. He is no "folk hero"- HE IS A CONVICTED KILLER.

Some protesters are coming to our city to create havoc and chaos in our streets. This is not free speech. Even the court understand "free speech" has limits. Using the ruse of "free speech" these people will mingle with the turely peaceful protesters as a means to hide.

These cowards will use every means possible to disrupt the DNC and our daily routines as Angelinos. These vermin will trample the rights of others to obtain their goals and agendas. These people will be the "anarchist."

Their agendas are simple and goals clear-destroy the goverment of the United States. Who are these "anarchist"? They come from all walks of life. They are of all ages and genders. The come form every community from across the United States.

Reguardless of who they are or where they come from they all have one goal and agenda. They want to create a society without companies, employers, public education, police, prisons, militaries, or goverments. They are against everything from public schools to free trade between nations. They are accountable to nobody and they seem to have this twisted idea their needs are about everybody eles.

Various Anarchist groups may claim to be "non violent" yet they admit violence is needed to to obtain their goals and further their agendas. They have little reguard or use for the laws that we as civilized people respect and hold dear.

One discription of anarchy as discribed in anarchist propaganda is, "all affairs of men should be managed by individuals or voluntary associations, and that the state should be abolished.." The problems with this type of agenda should be clear to any RATIONAL PERSON.

As we have seen in Seattle, Washington DC, and now at the Republican Convention no "colective" group(s) can promise that violence will not occure. The Direct Action Network cannot promise this. They tried in Seattle and they did not diliver. As a City we need to be ready and stand united!

The Los Angeles Anarchist Calender clearly states, "with Seattle the media will be focused on us. I would just like to say, have fun and remember that destroying a Starbucks location or Gap Location is NOT VIOLENCE! It is liberation.." The message to LA is clear-they intend to turn our streets into battle fields.

Add to this the fact the LA Anachrist Convention will be held at the same time as the DNC the potental for problems is real. Add to this the fact that many of the thugs who were present at the Laker Game will slither out from under their rocks only adds to the need for us as a city to unit and speak out against these invaders.

Los Angeles has it problems-granted. It is up to the people of Los Angeles to resolve them together. We do this when we Vote, and debate-peacefully.

Peaceful protesters however do not arm themselves with with basebal bats, gas masks, and other objects just to do battle with the police and destroy property. Peaceful protesters do not carry paint cans just to vandalize public and private property. Peaceful protesters do not enegage in and use tacticts that cuase harm to others around them. Only Terrorist do these things! This is why we have a police department-to protect us from these types of invaders.

We are a nation of laws. Law abiding protesters who act in accordance with the laws have nothing to fear from the police and will gain support for their issues. Reguardless of weather you are hanging a banner form a building, lying in the street blocking traffic, or using more direct and violent tactics to draw attention to your cuase-is unacceptable and they need to know this.

Each time they engage in one of their 'actions' they drain and cause City resources tobe rdirected away from the people of this City and those they claim to be speaking for.

While they run rampied throught the streets of LA people will your Police and Fire services will be tested and may cuase harm to those who really need their service.

These anarchist and their supporters need to understand that they are not welcome in LA. We need to send a loud and clear message to the Judges, Chief of Police, Mayor, District Attorney and City Attorney that can not be misunderstood.

This meesage must be engrained into the minds and hearts of all our City leaders and is truely simple, "PROTECT OUR CITY AND OUR PROPERY USING AT ALL COSTS!" If our leaders should fail in doing this simple task then as VOTERs we should remove them from office after they DNC is over. In effect the protesters will have done one thing and this is galvanized the people of LA against them and their cuases.

Ask our leaders for "FELONY CONSPIRACY CHARGES" be filed on anyone who aids, assists, facilitates, or participates in any lawless activity which is DNC related. If protesters choose to not ID themselves once arrested-SO BE IT let them sit in jail with high bonds to ensure they will be around for their court date! Let the media display their photo's publiclly for all to see and look down upon!

We will get thorugh this together and demonstrate to the

world that "LA's the Place" to come and vist if you come in paece. LA is NOT THE PLACE to come if you want to turn our streets and communities into battle fileds.

Feel free to post messages on their web sites which make this message clear. Demand that the FBI get involved and investigate these groups and their supporters as "terrorist." Let the protesters join their folk hero Mumia Jamal in jail and see that LA means to stand united against them.
