I'm not a lawyer, do forgive if the technical terms are not correct, but a plea bargain was made on 8/22 at 5 pm that covers the arrestees in the U'wa civil disobedience, the Ramparts CD and the Critical Mass bikers. This isn't everybody, but it's a good chunk of the total. The remaining prisoners should be released within 24 hours, if they have not yet been. The plea is to a 415 misdemeanor "disturbing the peace" at the infraction level and the punishment will be time served. ANY arrestees already out that this applies to should go to www.midnightspecial@lawcollective.org for details and for a form to arrange representation.

Just a correction for the above -- the plea was to an infraction with fine suspended in lieu of time served, rather than to a misdemeanor. Props to Midnight Special for that one!
