The LAPD riot of 8/14. Here's a 16:13 eyewitness account by Dave Heller of a favorite LAPD tactic: declaring a legal assembly illegal by fiat, ordering people to disperse, then blocking the exits and shooting and clubbing people trying to leave. (Edited to remove dead spots).
