Was LA inspiring, disgusting, or thought provoking? Do you like to express yourself in various way, which might be even considered poetic? Newspoetry offers up a poem a day and would be more than glad to publish your submission.

Newspoetry is a virtual community of poets who write and otherwise create electronic literature inspired by the events of the day and how the personal intersects the political. Whether free verse, constrained, formal poetic form, a news story rewritten to express the real truth being suppressed by the corporate media, or the more inventive hyper-textual forms of expression, it is all welcome at Newspoetry.

We have already discovered some wonderful Newspoetry from LA, but know that there is much still to be written, as the brave citizens who stood in the streets for a better community than the usual, corporate offerings return home. Please keep us in mind, as we welcome your contribution. You may contact us via our website, www.newspoetry.com .
