If you had a run in with these guys, how would you identify them in a report to the Police Complaint Desk? Without a badge number, an Officer is totally anonymous.

The themes of Wednesday's protests (8/16/2000), were the issues of Police Brutality, the Death Penalty, Political Prisoners, and mass incarceration. Several demonstrations were held during the day, with the afternoon's final protest being the largest. Well over 4,000 people marched to the Staples Center but were blocked entry to the protest area by nearly 2,000 Riot Police. I still don't know WHY the Police did this, but the hour long stand-off in the hot sun provided for some startling photographs. In this photo, LAPD Riot Officers can be seen ready for action, but none of them are wearing their badges... which I believe, is a clear violation of Police conduct.
