Early reports are confirmed, LAPD has said they are sorry about the targeting of the media during Monday's near-riot

In a press conference today, the Los Angeles Police Department said that it will investigate the targeting of media members during Monday's after-Rage attack by the police. Members of the media reported that they were selectively targeted by officers firing non-letal rubber bullets in the protest pit on Monday. One photographer was shot as he filmed the events, and his camera displays evidence of this, as does a picture showing a gun aimed directly at him.

Despite the admission of wrongdoing, the police declined to futher comment on their actions during the D2kLA DNC Intervention.
