RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE FAN!

I shot the portrait of this handsome fellow on the opening day of the CONvention (8/13/2000), as he listened to the band, "Rage Against the Machine." Like others in the huge crowd, he wore a gasmask as a defensive measure against the Teargas many feared the authorities would use against protestors. The photo was snapped nearly an hour before the LAPD Riot Squad assaulted the crowd of 10,000 with Rubber Bullets and Tear Gas.
