Those a-holes deserve to go to jail. They're all a bunch of naive, wet behind the ears, punks that in mass don't have the common sense of an earth worm. When they're done inconveniencing the rest of the hard working tax paying citizens that foot the bill for their lazy asses, they probably ride their freeking bicycles to McDonalds where they grease down a gut bomb that made it's way to their favorite dining establishment by , guess what? a truck. Fools

hey, mikey! what did i tell you about opening your mouth in public?
you're calling people involved in an innocent, peaceful, lawful bicycle ride "a-holes"? what kind of a jerk are you?
go play somewhere else, and leave the big kids alone.

in response to the above IGNORANT opinion, You obviously don't ride, But as our right to our choice of free transportation is, just as our right to freedom to express our political message, We gather monthly and ride daily...Along with all the other issues being voiced by activists here in LA from all walks of life , We all together have experienced police brutality, oppression and belittlement from people chosen to represent us and our tax dollars, And yet we come together to support each other and no matter what actions taken against us the "protestors"(by the LAPD-Corp.Media) every day we are drawn back angrier and louder than the day before...

Actually, Mike is hitting on an important issue. Even if all those 300 people chose to ride bicycles forever instead of drive cars, there will be virtually no effect on the general air quality and environmental pollution problems. It is instead a personal choice. If I believe that riding a bicycle is better for myself, both for my health and the health of everyone else, even if it makes a difference only to me, it's worth doing. Everyone who is protesting at the DNC is doing so for themselves, because it feels good to express what you believe to be true. Just as Mike felt obligated to respond to the photo above, even though nobody is going to give his childish ideas much credit. The revolution happens inside you.

I was one of the 71. We perhaps were naive. We thought that we were in a country where people had the right to assembly, free speech, and due process. Instead we live in a country where diverging from the mainstream is a crime. I am proud of everyone that had the courage to stand up for their beliefs, in spite of the thugs who tried to scare us away.

PS: mike, if you had courage you would have used you full name.
