A POWERFUL FILM . . . w/ a TIMELY INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE

While Disturbing the Peace is based in the Middle East, it is a timely message that addresses universal themes relevant to each and every one of us - worldwide. It is a story about the human potential unleashed when people have the courage to follow the power of their own conscience. In light of the current administration's reckless and misguided actions and the millions of individuals around the world standing up and speaking out in the name of peace and justice, this is a Powerful Film with a Timely and Empowering Message.

Disturbing the Peace follows a group of former enemy combatants - Israeli soldiers from the most elite units, and Palestinian fighters, many of whom served years in prison - who have come together to challenge the status quo and and say "enough." The film traces their transformational journeys from soldiers committed to armed battle to their surrendering their weapons and courageously embracing non-violent peace activism. It is a story of the human potential unleashed when we stop participating in a story that no longer serves us, and with the power of our convictions take action to create a new possibility. Deconstructing the cycle of violence through compassion and empathy, their personal journeys show us a powerful and inspiring way to non-violent solutions in a conflict filled society.
