DESCRIPTION:
This five-part interview will begin airing on KPFK (Los Angeles) January 11. In this wide-ranging interview, Avakian argues why nothing short of revolution will deal with the howling problems in the world; he provides deep analysis on the recent election as well as the illusion behind elections under this system; he speaks to the lies told about the history of communism; the real potential for revolution in this country and the strategy for that revolution; what the goal of this revolution is and, in particular, what the breakthroughs are that are concentrated in the new synthesis of communism that BA has brought forward.

He also talks with passion and science about what has kept him on the revolutionary road for decades now despite great sacrifice and at great personal risk.

The interview will debut Friday, January 11th, at 10am Pacific on KPFK 90.7FM in Los Angeles and kpfk.org worldwide, and will continue to air on the next four Friday mornings. A link to each section of the interview will also be available at revcom.us and KPFK archives shortly after it airs. So listen live, listen online at kpfk.org or find a station in your city that will join in airing this remarkable interview.
