Future Fest - March, Rally, and Community Festival

On the 25th anniversary of the 1992 LA Uprising, we’re bringing together the South LA community and over 35 community-led organizations for Future Fest - a rally, march, and community festival to building community commitment to a vision for South LA’s Future. Join us in committing to working towards a future that is innovative, inclusive and rooted in community-led transformation. This event is All Ages. Rally Point: 10 am: Florence and Normandie March Route: Florence and Normandie to 81st and Vermont (1.5 miles) Future Fest: 1 pm to 5 pm: 81st and Vermont (in front of Community Coalition) Speakers and musical performances coming soon. Future Fest is brought to you by SLA BHC: South Los Angeles Building Healthy Communities Collaborative (SLA BHC) is a part of The California Endowment's 10-year strategic initiative supporting the development of safe and healthy communities.

The SLA BHC is composed of more than 30 community partners focused on uplifting a collective voice, elevating unique models of organizing and community leadership, developing community power, and creating community-based solutions to systematic oppression.
