Art Build for People's Climate March Los Angeles with APAN

Saturday, April 15 at 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM PDT

Armory Center for the Arts

145 N Raymond Ave, Pasadena, California 91103

Join us at an Art Build to make spectacular visuals with an experienced team of artists for the March for Science AND the People's Climate March Los Angeles. Beginners Welcome!

The APAN Environmental Committee, the Artist Political Action Network, in collaboration with the People's Climate Movement Los Angeles, is organizing an art workshop day to provide space, materials and inspiration for creating eye-catching signs, puppets, banners, costumes, props for upcoming marches, specifically the PCM, but also for the March for Science. Artist Trulee Hall will be leading the work session. They intend to explore non-traditional sign making, playing with ideas that co-exist with and enhance the rectangle on a stick sign. Recycled newspaper makes paper mache! Canvas tarps create banners! Costumes/props/puppets, ect.

If you have any materials you would like to donate, please bring them! It would be wonderful to have more cardboard, paint, fabric, hot glue, anything you feel might be put to good use! Anyone want to bring snacks or iced tea to share? That would be certainly appreciated as well!

We hope you'll join us and help make the Peoples Climate March as powerful as it can be. More details on this event are forthcoming. Note, the time may be subject to change.

Look forward to seeing you there!
