They claim that theirs is a peaceful and positive march in support of Trump, our police, and our veterans. However, we understand that there is nothing peaceful or positive about Trump?s racist rhetoric, the police state, or the US imperialism that victimizes both poor people of color abroad and our veterans once returned home. While those of privilege can afford to usher in the fascist state with parades of national and martial pride, their intended victims can scarcely afford the respectable silence our political establishment currently expects of us. Being the first step on the regressive path toward the barbarism of our nation?s past, this expected silence, for us, is akin to death. Join the Socialist Party of Orange County at 11:00am on the beach near Sea Legs on the Beach (located 1000 ft south of Warner and PCH along the beach walkway) Look for the Anti-Fascist Flag (Red and Black). Come early as entering the Beach Parking lot may be slow moving. Parking is . Carpool! Or there are meters near Warner Ave. We plan to rally in front of Trump?s national Make America Great Again march coming down the beach from Warner. The Trump MAGA march will start at 12 noon and will head South along the beach. Depending on the number of people available we will attempt to march in front of the Trump rally or halt their progression. Speakers to be announced. Bring Signs! They are expecting hundreds of people so please turn out and share.
